1. Membership Refunds
1.1 Free trial. The 30-day free trial is exactly that -- free. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged and there is nothing to refund.
1.2 First paid charge: 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your membership after your first paid charge, email us at info@fermentationfestival.com within 30 days of that charge and we will issue a full refund. No questionnaire, no callback required.
1.3 After the first 30 days. Subsequent monthly or annual charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused time except where required by law.
1.4 How to cancel. Sign in, open the Subscription tab on your account page, and click the cancel button, or email us at info@fermentationfestival.com. Cancellations are processed within one business day.
2. Store Orders
2.1 30-day return window. You may return any item from our kitchen store within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Items damaged in shipping or with manufacturer defects are eligible for refund or replacement at our discretion.
2.2 Non-returnable items. For health and safety reasons, the following are not eligible for return once opened: food and pantry items, perishables, and items with a tamper-evident seal where the seal has been broken. We will of course replace or refund any item that arrives damaged or defective.
2.3 Return shipping. If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defect, or damage in transit), we will pay for return shipping and provide a prepaid label. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is paid by the customer.
2.4 Refund processing. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
3. How to Request a Refund or Return
Email info@fermentationfestival.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your full name
- The email associated with your account
- The order or invoice number (if applicable)
- A short note about the reason -- this is optional but it helps us improve
We aim to reply within one business day, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern Time.
4. Cancellations Without Refund
You can cancel your membership at any time without contacting us. Cancellation through your account page stops future charges. If you also want a refund of your most recent charge, follow the steps in Section 3.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email where appropriate. Existing orders and active subscriptions are governed by the policy in effect on the date of purchase.
